The wine displays concentrated aromas of crushed berries, chocolate, and tobacco, with complex flavors of berry fruit enhanced by gamey and toasty notes from 7 months in oak (40% new American, 40% new French, 20% aged French). Sweet smooth tannins and excellent length make this wine ideal for pairing with beef, lamb, poultry, and mature cheeses.
