This outstanding XO (Old Extra) Cognac from Château de Montifaud demonstrates the producer’s commitment to over-aging their spirits far beyond legal requirements. Aged for 30-35 years in French oak casks in ideal cool conditions, the grapes were grown in the prestigious Petite Champagne cru. The result is a complex, sophisticated spirit with glorious notes of dried fruit, dark oak, toasted nuts, baking spices, toffee, and baked apples, balanced by bright fruity flavours of white peach, honeysuckle, and sweet grapes.
