Castaing duck foie gras is crafted the old-fashioned way from free-range ducks, characterized by a homogeneous beige colour and robust, authentic flavour. Hand-seasoned exclusively with carefully selected salt and pepper added at the last moment, it is slowly cooked in its container to exude golden grease and corn colour. The ducks are reared outdoors in large open spaces for a minimum of 102 days and fed 100% natural grain corn, ensuring complete traceability and quality.
