Castaing duck foie gras is crafted in the old-fashioned way from free-range ducks, characterized by a homogeneous beige colour and authentic, full-bodied flavour. Hand-seasoned exclusively with carefully selected salt and pepper, then slowly cooked in its container to release a golden grease and corn colour. This premium product comes from ducks reared outdoors in large open spaces for minimum 102 days, fed 100% natural grain corn, and certified by the Label Rouge label. Maison Castaing selects and prepares each foie gras by hand to guarantee traceability and origin from their controlled production chain.
