Description

Lemercier absinthe quickly became the flagship of this family distillery and is marketed as Abisinthe following the 1915 decree that banned absinthe sales under its original name. Produced by Distillerie Lemercier Frères, this spirit comes directly from the distillery’s historical absinthe recipes, with carefully selected plants and seeds that are macerated and distilled to perfection. The light green spirit presents vegetal notes on the nose with absinthe and lavender notes, while the palate delivers complex layers of wormwood, fennel, aniseed, and spicy liquorice. At 72% alcohol, it pairs beautifully with smoked ham and other traditional charcuterie.
