Description
Zonin’s Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore DOC is produced in the Veneto region using 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara grapes. The wine undergoes a second fermentation through contact with warm dried grape skins from Amarone production, enriching it with concentrated flavors and aromas. Matured for one year in 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels followed by six months in bottle, it presents an intense ruby-red color with complex bouquet of cherries and subtle chocolate notes. On the palate, it offers dry, harmonious balance with great strength and a persistent, clean finish.
