Description
This premium red wine from Herdade da Bombeira showcases a blend of carefully selected grape varieties, hand-harvested and cold macerated for 3 days before fermentation. Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, it develops complex notes of peppers, tobacco, coffee and menthol alongside its core wild berry and plum flavors. Full-bodied with smooth tannins and a lingering finish, it pairs beautifully with meat, grilled fish, cod in olive oil and cheese. Best enjoyed within the next 10 years when stored at a constant 17°C and served at 16-18°C.
