Description
Zonin’s Primitivo di Manduria DOC is crafted from 100% Primitivo grapes harvested in early September from the Manduria region in Puglia. The wine ferments in steel vats at controlled temperature and is aged for 12 months in large Slavonian barrels, developing a dense purple-red colour with prominent spicy notes. On the palate, it is structured and warm with moderate tannins perfectly balanced by acidity. Best served at 16-18°C, it pairs excellently with strong-flavoured first courses, grilled meats, roasted lamb, and mature cheeses.
