Description

Zonin Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore DOC is produced in the Valpolicella region of Veneto using a blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara grapes. The wine employs the traditional Ripasso technique, where it undergoes a second fermentation through contact with warm dried grape skins from Amarone production, enriching it with greater concentration and complexity. It matures for one year in 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle. The result is a dry wine with a fine, harmonious balance, persistent aftertaste, and remarkable depth of flavor.
