Description

Made from exclusively Primitivo grapes grown on unique reddish ochre earth mixed with crushed limestone, this wine undergoes 14 days of fermentation followed by 12 months maturation in 350-liter French oak tonneaux. The wine displays a dark, profound ruby color with intense bouquet of plums, red fruit jam, and sweet spice notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and soft with highly mature fruitiness supported by pleasant complex tannins. Best served at 16-18°C alongside substantial dishes such as roasted red meats, lamb, or traditional Apulian cuisine.
